Prereq: Traditional climbs on both sides, and an unaided inversion.
Description: This is flow style cue class. Build and maintain crucial muscles used for aerial arts through high reps x high intensity interval training followed by a guided mobility practice to promote range of motion and decreased recovery time. Bring water and be prepared to work hard!
Level: Intermediate
Age: 16+
Focus: Integrated class (skills/technique & fitness/conditioning)
Prereq: An unaided knee hang, proficient entry/exit, beat to seat
Description: This is a workshop style class.
Includes eight 90 minute progressive curriculum classes, deeper practice into skills and concepts learned in Intro Series. This is a prerequisite for Adult Aerial Dance Series which is a prerequisite to perform in Spring Student Showcase! $200 for 8 classes, early bird and member discounts apply.

Focus: Creative Exploration and Movement Quality
Prereq: Sequence 5 major concepts proficiently on sling
Description: Workshop style class.
16 weeks. First 8 weeks create a group piece. Second 8 weeks create a solo on apparatus of your choice. Those whom participate in all 16 weeks have the option to perform in Spring Student Showcase. $400 for 16 classes, or you can choose to take either 8 week segment for $200. Early bird and member discounts (20% off).

Prereq: Youth Aerial Series: Basics, skill assessment threshold skills
Description: This is a workshop style class. An 8 week series each Spring. Tweens are eligible to enroll once they've demonstrated with proficiency threshold skills learned in Youth Aerial Basics, can sequence aerial concepts, and are successful at taking direction in the air. Invitation to perform in MASC's Spring Student Showcase!

Description: This is flow style cue class.
Buti Yoga workouts transform your BODY + SOUL with cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement + conditioning woven into a dynamic yoga practice.
You must be enrolled in at least one MASC class/week to be eligible  for training “at height” or “pole inversions”
*Exception: proof of eligibility if you are a guest from another studio, a professional aerialist, or if you are participating in Acro Jam. Observe and follow House Rules and Open Gym Rules, we reserve the right to decline service

Foundation and building blocks are the most important in creating a sustainable pole practice. Emphasizes pole movement mechanics with conditioning and technique; build strength, coordination, balance, and alignment for climbs, tricks, and inversions. Complements sequencing by giving the gift of endurance and proficiency. Modifications and variations are offered to assist students in reaching their goals. static.

Belly Dance Drills

Description: This is workshop style class. Drills are the foundational key to body awareness, strength and stamina. Explore the basics of single layering to complex layers with footwork. Expand your dance repertoire whether you're a new student or seasoned dancer of Belly Dance. $100 for 8 classes, early bird and member discounts apply

Description: Learn the basics of juggling so you can “wow” your family and friends, use it as a “healthy” escape from reality, or audition for the circus! This class will teach you solo and partner juggling techniques and give you time to practice. Through continued practice you can improve balance, mental focus, hand/eye coordination, and fluidity of movements. $54 for 6 classes

Description: Workshop style class. An 8 week series in the Winter, Spring, and Fall. Kids spirits soar as they hone their inner equilibrist. Games and conditioning increase strength, mental focus, and agility. Kids find their wings and express themselves as the equipment transforms into a magical world! Fun and friendly coaches establish safety and structure as kids weave body positioning mechanics on aerial sling, partner acro, and transfer skills from the floor into the air. So your kids can dazzle you with their fresh steez and skillz, on the last day of the series, friends and family are invited to a show and share!

Description: This is a workshop style class.
Take skills learned in class and apply them by focusing on transitions and the art of creating engaging combos (2 or more moves combined).

Prereq: Proficient basic climb on both sides, can hold a strong hold crunch for 5+ seconds, comfortable with inverting.
Description: This is flow style cue class.This class is designed for the more advanced students who have mastered the basic level 1 skills and are ready to progress to level 2 skills. Everything taught in this class can be performed from the ground AND in the air. spin and static pole mechanisms are used.
 

Spirits soar as kids spin skills on aerial hammock/sling, rope, static trapeze, movement props like staffs, hoops, poi, juggling, and slack line, and dance!

8 weeks of applying skills learned in previous series into choreography. Students build endurance and develop transitions.

Prereq: Demonstrate with proficiency a traditional climb on both sides and a safe entry/exit
Description: This is a workshop style class.
Includes eight 90 minute progressive curriculum classes, once per week for 8 weeks. Other words for “Vertical” are Silks/Fabric, Rope/Corde Lisse, Sling. This Series is a prerequisite for Adult Aerial Dance Series which is a prerequisite to perform in our Spring showcase. $200 for 8 classes, early bird and member discounts apply.

Description: This is a workshop style class.

Description: Workshop style class. An 8 week series Winter, Spring, and Fall. Fundamental concepts and technique in aerial skills are the heart of the program. Once an understanding of the essentials begin to shine in their practice, these tweens explore movement, expression, and sequencing improvisation. Option to perform a "show and share" during the last class. This series is a prerequisite for Kids Aerial Dance Series.

Description: This is flow style cue class.
This class is designed to build confidence, strength, body awareness and vocabulary necessary to safely progress. spin and static.

At MASC we honor pole as an aerial apparatus. We prioritize its foundation of gymnastics, athleticism, and creative art.

Description: Flow style cue class. 
Using a looped fabric (hammock) that swivels freely on a single point. Suspended at seat height, the hammock is a prop, intended to assist alignment, and provide accessibility. This class intends to deepen awareness and relaxation, and gain immediate benefits such as spinal decompression, pain relief, and ease in poses/asana.

Acro Yoga is a term used in the world of cirque to describe partner work consisting of a base and a flyer, sometimes in groups of three or more. The base lifts the flyer to generate static shapes and dynamic movements.
